The Situation Workout Is For Real

If you area a fan of the hit series Jersey Shore, you have no doubt witnessed the impressive physiques of the males on the show. Mike "the Situation" Sorrentino, who helped coin the phrase ‘Gym, Tan, Laundry’ is about to branch out and begin a new line of work. The Situation Workout DVD is going to be released in the next few months, and promises to be interesting.  Should we trust him when it comes to fitness? Or is he just looking to fatten his wallet!

Is "The Situation" Workout Legitimate?
The cast of Jersey Shore is comprised of young club hopping Guido's as the say, who get trashed every night.... not the greatest fitness role models.  "The Situation" is using his platform on the show to highlight his incredible body, and people are  taking note.  Does he care about fitness, or is he just trying to earn a buck?

Lucky for Mike, you can measure authority in other ways.  Besides showcasing his great 6 pack in every episode of Jersey Shore, he is often times filmed going to the gym and cooking healthy meals.  The guys on the show maintain that they go to the gym at least 5 days a week, so in that respect they are putting in the effort to be considered fitness buffs. 

Diet Your Way To 6 Pack Abs
When asked abut his workout routine, "The Situation" goes on to discuss the stages of his program.  He really surprises me is about the 16 second mark.   He goes on about diet!  I wasn’t expecting this.  Meat-Heads, don't usually talk about nutrition in such high regard. The Situation doesn't mislead people to believe that his abdominal workout alone will get the job done; Sculpting that 6-pack is never easy!  Congratulations to "the Situation” for not being a meat-head and possibly becoming positive fitness role model for viewers of the show. 

 Don't Forget About Cardio

Mike credits his 6 pack abs to a great diet, intense abdominal routines, and a killer cardio routine.  "The Situation" says you should never leave the gym without at least doing 30 minutes of cardio.  It's doesn't matter what you use (treadmill, bike, elliptical) just do it if you want to get "The Situation" 6 pack!
